No, the cost of drug testing is included in your rent.
Addison House does not provide clinical services; therefore we do not accept any insurance.
Yes, curfew is 10:30 PM for the first 30 days. After 30 days curfews are adjusted according to a resident’s progress.
We are not affiliated with any treatment centers or outpatient programs. Assuming they are properly licensed and ethical, we will work with any treatment provider.
We have a core commitment to ensure that our houses remain drug and alcohol free. Accordingly, in the event that a resident presents themselves to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol they are immediately removed from the resident population and are provided with monitored accommodations off-site. Once the resident is of sound mind they will meet with the staff to discuss referral to another level of care.
Yes, vehicles are permitted at Addison House after 30 days or residency. The resident must provide copies of their driver’s license, registration, and car insurance to the management before bringing the vehicle on property.
Overnight passes are typically not considered for residents in the Managed Phase; for residents in the Monitored Phase passes will be considered on a limited case by case basis after successful completion of the first 90 days; for residents in the Step-down Phase, passes are available subject to resident/staff discussion. Residents will be required to be drug tested upon return to the house.
Transportation is provided for residents in the Managed Phase.
Addison House is a community for men in early recovery from alcoholism or substance abuse.
